Washita Retrievers currently owns over 200 acres of training land, most within three miles of the kennel. In 2003 we began a pond construction project that consisted of four new training ponds and the modification of an additional two training ponds. The project was successful and has proven beneficial both in training and in waterfowl habitat.

Washita Retrievers has access to some of the best training land and water available in Southwest Oklahoma in addition to the technical water available at the Rush Springs Training Grounds. The pictures below are of some of the ponds we have permission to train on.
